You've heard of Kickstarter and Backerkit. I've been able to create a lot of my products through these crowdfunding platforms. But a campaign usually takes about a month to run and then another half month to collect the funds. I have some events coming up this fall that I want some new designs for so I'm going doing a ConStarter this weekend due to time constraints.
Sales at Otakon (artist alley, E302) and online from Friday, 7/31-8/2 will go towards sending the following pins to production. The art is done, the files are ready, all I need is YOU!
Second Level: Korean Culture Pins
These two will go to expanding the Korean culture series I've been doing for a few years.
Jeoseung Saja: the Korean version of the grim reaper (existed before Saja Boys were even a thing, lol)
Taegeukgi: the South Korean national flag
Third Level: Condiment Kitties
The Condiment Kitties series continues to grow with Sesameow Oil and Gochufang. Sesameow Oil will have translucent enamel.
Fourth Level: Purrsimmons
This is a pin version of my Purrsimmons illustration. Print is currently in the shop and I'll also have at con.

That's breaking even which doesn't have an illustration and is boring, but essential.

I’ve made a chart that I’ll be coloring in showing our progress (think those school fundraisers with the thermometer that slowly fills up). I’ll be posting to social as I can* to update our progress.
Indie artists like me rely heavily on customer support as we often operate on very small budgets. This hasn’t changed, but I thought this would be a fun way to show in real time how it’s done.
